Sleeper

I saw on a blog I sometimes read, that there is a rumor about the possibility of a second anime season of Full Metal Alchemist.

link here www.animenation.net/blog/2008/08/21/second-full-metal-alc...

Its apparently just in the rumored phase, but if it become true, then it would be super-mega-hyper-good.

I love to see Full Metal Alchemist.

Guess is just wait to see if its real.

Complete Look

So this is the whole outfit-look of saturday

After being around downtown for a while, I decided to go to the seawalk, As I was driving around to find a place to park and go down, mi friend called me to say in 20 minutes she be ready, so just kept driving around a bit more, so no time to go down and let the sea breeze mess my hair even more.
Went for her, do a little check on the makeup, and to the danceplace, a place called Zebras in Campeche.
So we entered, been over a year since las time I went there, they have taken tables out, so good thing is now dance area is bigger, but can be bad if you arrive late and want to sit down from time to time.
Not 10 minutes gone by, and I was being asked to go dancing, and evil Jessica decided to say yes and let her friend there while Jessica moved the legs.

I sweat more dancing that night than any night at gym, how terrible.

Curly bangs

Flequillos

Curly bangs

So Saturday I went out of town

A friend of mine was around, she was to be traveling from Merida to Tabasco, so we made plans to try to meet and go out.
The agreed meeting point was Campeche on saturday, planning to go out a while.

Being summer, it was expected to be hot weather, so my idea was thinking how to had my hair raised up, and still looked feminine.
Draw a line through my skull to have hair for bangs, the rest was put together up in the back with a comb. Then divided the hair at the front and put it on little rollers. so had a few front curled garbs. I liked how it looked, unfortunately the wind made the curls disappeared, so the hair ended a bit flat, still looking ok.

And so first I went alone by myself downtown Campeche, to the main plaza. There walked around, bought myself a machacado (ice broken with flavor) and sit down to hear the music while waiting for my friend to message me that she was ready.

I think I looked quite ok, there was even a volunteer to escort me to my car.

let this sacrifice of blood be of your liking
allow those tears to feed it

Under your robes I beg with a song
in my wishes lives my belief in you
in my prayers to you I give up my dream
and let the curse I ask be real.

Get home, start to peel off one, and Oh surprise, its yellow, and I have only seen them in green.

Thought, perhaps its rotten, but even so rotten ones look green.

So went to the box to pick another and see, when saw that on the box it said "yellow kiwis", Mmm, new ones, never eat them before.

The Papaya

Fruit of interesting flavor

As kid my parents prepared papaya for breakfast wuite often, they told us that it was good for digestion.
And it is, since papaya has an enzyme called Papaina that is a very important digestive agent that is also very efective in disolving proteins
Also papaya contains Vitamin A, C, B, aminoacids, calcium and iron.

So its good to have papaya for breakfast once in a while.

A last dream

Un Ultimo Sueño

A last dream

Allow me to close my eyes and remember
let your smile fade into my mind
make my heart beat to the rhythm of your voice
and let us go into a world of dreams.

Hope will be the one who turn the skies into blue
happiness will fill with green the floors
Our passion should paint with color the flowers
and desire be told by the birds singing.

My warm breath as a soft breeze would roam this world
the sweet touch of our hands will shape mountains and clouds
with your sigh the air will be filled with perfumes
with my tears rivers and lakes should born

Allow me to keep my eyes closed
let me enjoy of this world we have created
lost in unfinished realities
A last dream is my only wish.

Train

Tren

Train

During the time of Porfirio Diaz in Mexico trains became the big method of transportation, and began a time of lots of railroad building.

While still a kid I had the chance to travel by train from San Luis to Mexico, a travel that on those time took between 5 to 6 hours by car, was 8 hours by train. But it was a really enjoyable experience.

Some time later the government announced that the mexican train system was broken and so in debt, that it was being disappeared.

Only a few cargo train, from mining companies still traveled. One of them even passed near to where I lived.

Today I read on the newspaper that the government wants to create projects of Interurban trains. Unfortunately those train are basically to connect Mexico City to cities really near by. But hopefully this can make the government see how good a transportation method that is, and with time new passenger trains be created, and hopefully fast like those in other countries. It would be nice to travel again by train.

Note, In Mexico there is still one passenger train, It still exist due to the touristic attraction it runs by, the Sierra Tarahumara.

La Hidrocalida

Aguascalientes, like most of the center of the country cities, had a time when development when hand by hand with railroads.

With time and help from the government the railroads in Mexico became inefficient that they disappeared. Luckily in Aguascalientes instead of just abandoning or destroying the railroad places, they bouild a museum and garden.

And there is this steam railroad machine, called "La Hidrocalida"

Worm

A pretty worm

This worm looks like the ones that appeared on the tree of my previous house, they were called "Quemadores" (burners), but those ones were black. Those "quemadores" worms , their fur had some substance that irritated the skin and felt like if you have burned. It was quite painful if one happened to fall on your skin. And with my luck, I had more than one fall into mine.

Stuffed Pepper and grapes

One of the typical food dishes from Aguascalientes.

Is a stuffed pepper, in fact other states in Mexico, also have typical food that includes stuffed pepper (being the most known ones the ones called "Chiles en Nogada")

Those have a different taste, the white sauce has a bit more acid taste, and is decorated with grapes.

They tasted fabulous.

There is a mountainous part in Aguascalientes that is pretty, in fact is an ecological reserve.

The views and landscapes are really pretty, but the road is not paved and with lots of turns and curves, one must drive really slow.

But thats good, since tht way one can see all the green and landscapes with mountain and rock formation, like the one on the photo.

Really pretty

Broken Christ at San Jose de Gracia

Cristo Roto en San Jose de Gracia

Broken Christ at San Jose de Gracia

At the middle of the lake behind the dam curtain at San Jose de Gracia, there is an island, and on the island the local government wanted to put a statue, and so they put that Christ.

And that's the story, as the guide said, no miracle, no appearances, no nothing. Just a statue to make people visit the place.

Even so, the statue is interesting, and it was designed broken from the beginning.
