Tulum Beach

Tulum Beach

Tulum Beach

Another view of another point of the beachs in Tulum.
With those blues there was only one thing to do, to jump into the water.
This time I did remember to put sun blocker, so I ended up with a nice tan, yes bit of sunburn, but not much, and more important, without the pain of it.

I so wanted to just stay there forever.
But the evil forces brought me back.

Playa Carmen

Playa Carmen

Playa Carmen

I am exhausted
And I am also happy.

Wow, just seeing those beautifull blues, I don't understand how people say "I have the blues" to say they are sad.
Just look, those blues, they anything but sad. So inviting to just jump, swim and go away.

Jessica, tired of swimming, and dancing.

A day at the beach.

A day at the beach.

Probably some of my friends who live in places where it is still cold and snowy will hate me, but it is spring already.

SO this weekend was another of the staying in the island ones.
Office work Saturday morning, the cleaning the apartment at the afternoon, ended all tired, go to sleep early.
Sunday, waking up before the sun rised, looking up, no clouds, like a good day to go to the beach.
Grabbed my chair, towel, water, a book, put on my swimmming suit, then the oter swimming suit, and a shirt.
Some sun blocker, in some areas, didn't want to get all burned, but wanted to tan a bit.
And off to the highway. As usual went to the beach area far from the city, the one is almost empty almost all the time.

So there I was finally, looking at the sea, the waves, little ones this time hitting the sand, The blue sky, the very little clouds. A really calmed day, perfect.
Sit down for a while just to enjoy it. I like th e sound the water makes. Plus lots of seadirds, really fun to see.
Time to change and be on my swimsuit. lay on my chair or on the towel to get a bit of tan.
It was during one of my times in laying in the towel, when o put my head up, away from my book, that I saw, 3 little heads over a sand mountain, oh my people.
Quickly grabbed my short, pull top off, and continue reading a bit, then stand up to see who they were, just a little family over there, like 40 meters away. plus a sand mountain was between us.
Looking that they were to stay there and probably didn't see me, back to swimming suit. Keep ennjoying my day at the beach. They went away at some point.
Later while taking the pics, a helicopter passed over, guess the passenger got quite a view.

Then swimming a little bit, and I must say, it is more comfortable to swim in the boy swimming suit. But it was still nice to sit over the sand waiting for my swimsuit to dry.
After a while, my stomach was saying, me hungry, so time to pack things up, and go back home. A nice day at the beach.

I posted a series of little vids, from the sea. here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLreMbGsYkY

Now to explain the pictures.

Top row, at the left can see a pelican and a seagull fling around the sea, they have spotted some nice fish. And it was the pelican who got the catch, in the right.
Middle left, a little seabird, next to some rock. Cute
Middle right, I liked that plant formation, looks like the shape of a person walking, Hey, isn't the publicity from some beverage company like that, Mmmm, maybe I can sell this image to them. Free whiskey perhaps??
Down Left, The water breaking at the sand, little waves this time, it was not too windy.
Down Right, another seagull on the sky, and I think it won't mind if I stole bits of the blue sky around to post tiny images of myself.

Well thats it for my Sunday day.

Tired, Burned, Happy. In Mahahual

Tired, Burned, Happy. In Mahahual

Ok, this last weekend was a 3 day weekend here in Mexico
So I decided to take a little trip to a place called Mahahual. Its located in the state of Quintana Roo. In the cost of the caribbean sea.
Its a really nice place. It's a little fisher town, that suddenly got tourist attention. But is still small. So no big fancy city things like other beach places.
But Mahahual doesn't need fancy atractions, it has the beauty of nature just to make it one of the best beach places.
Really calm, clean, almost virgin beaches, in lots of blue tones of the Caribbean.
Lots of friendly people, from all parts of the world living there.
Great place to eat sea food.
Apparently great place for fishing.
And it has a small coral reef just a few meters away from the beach.
And just one hour away by boat, there is the Chinchorro coral Bank, the second largest in America (that's what the diving guide said).

So what I did, mainly swim in the calm pretty blue waters on the beach, did some kayak sailing also.
And did two snorkeling trips, one to the near coral reef, and one to Chinchorro Coral bank.

And I must say WOOOOOOOOOOOW, the beauty of what I saw under water, is just amazing.
Now I want two things, to buy an underwater camera. And learn how to dive, just hearing all the cool fishes that the guys who went diving, made me jelous.
And if I saw some really cool fish, corals, and other sea animals, and that was awesome, I can just imagine how much many other things you can see in deeper waters.

Anyway, it was a great weekend, I am happy. Also tired and with some burn from the sun, but thats ok.

Now to the photos.

Top Left, a see of one of the beach points in Mahahual.
Top Right, just before sunrise, lovely colors.
Medium Left, some pelicans, lots of birds there, it was incredible to see them dive to catch their meals.
Medium Right, a look of the beach line from the boat.
Bottom Left, a shot from the boat in the middle of the sea, lovely blue tones of the caribbean sea.
Bottom Middle, a little rainbow from away.
Bottom Right, the moon, a shot by night. I don't know how to take night photos, either the moon appears to bright as in the pic, or too small and everything is black.

So thats all

I really liked this one, Show the water in motion.
The ocean waters, come and go, come and go.
Like things in life, they come an go, come and go again.

Like Jessica, that has come and go.
In moments of my life, I was send this thing of being Jessica away, for many reasons.
In some of them thinking. It was the last one, that its gone forever.
Yet she comes back, like the ocean water.

PS. Ah that secret image, better not.

A sunday at the beach

A sunday at the beach

Ok, since this weekend had to stay in the island due to work on Saturday. Prep for end of Month. I decided to go to the beach on Sunday.
Here in the island there are two beach areas at each end. One is really not that nice, the other is nice but usually crowded of people, families with kids.
So when I want to really enjoy the beach I drive a little bit more, into the beach area by the Highway. Very few people there, sometimes even alone.
Got to enjoy the beach all for myself.
This weekend it was bit windy, not as good for swimming, many waves. So had to stay near the shore. Also not so sunny, but thats good, better not get sunburns again.

Now the pics.
Top Left, some finding among the seashells, Yes I moved them a bit to make them look together in the pic.
Top Right, more seashells, As I said, being a beach rarelly visited by humans, it has some really nice shell banks.
Medium Left, some seabirds. There were a few groups, from big Pelicans (who always fly away when I approached) to this ones, and some other little ones, that run away instead of fly.
Medium Right, some dead tree in the beach, It makes a great picture frame.
Bottom Left, one wave breaking against some rocks, It really splashed big. I like sitting in the rock, oposed to the sea, and let the water hit my back. Like a little massage.
Bottom Right, the waves breaking to the beach shore.

Just a bit to show the beach near here.
