Grounded by Lu
Grounded by Lu
To the corner, being able only to see the woods of the walls, two hours sitting there, that was her punishment.
Bah, punishment, indeed she would have preferred to be out, running with her friends on the grass, playing among the trees. But for her this to be a punishment was not entirely certain.
Yes most kids would be sad to be there two hours in what seemed the most boring thing, but for her it was an opportunity.
To be there alone, without distractions, no interruptions from someone talking her. There she had all she needed to do some real thinking.
It was in those two hours that her mind was the most productive, where her imagination could fly without limits, when the ideas came without pause.
To her, more than a punishment, those two hours could become a break, a hidden prize.
